Overview

DART-1 is a DART-based therapeutic candidate developed by MacroGenics. It is a bispecific antibody designed to deplete cells infected with HIV. The drug is intended to be used in combination with latency reversing treatments and is currently being advanced for Phase 1/2 clinical trials. MacroGenics entered into a contract with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) to support its development, with initial funding of $7.5 million and potential for up to $17 million in additional funding.
