dasatinib + rituximab

Dasatinib + rituximab is a combination of two pharmaceutical agents used primarily in the treatment of hematologic malignancies. Dasatinib is an orally available small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets BCR-ABL, SRC family kinases, c-KIT, EPHA2, and PDGFRβ. It is indicated for Philadelphia chromosome-positive leukemias such as chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), where it inhibits the abnormal kinase activity driving malignant cell proliferation[1][4][5]. Rituximab is a chimeric monoclonal antibody targeting CD20 on B lymphocytes. It induces cell death through complement-dependent cytotoxicity and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity, leading to depletion of both normal and malignant B cells. Rituximab is approved for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and several autoimmune diseases[3][6][8]. The combination may be explored in clinical trials or off-label settings for synergistic effects in certain leukemias or lymphomas.
