dasotraline

Dasotraline is a small molecule serotonin-norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibitor (SNDRI) that was developed for the treatment of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and binge eating disorder (BED). It acts by inhibiting the reuptake of dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin transporters in the central nervous system. Dasotraline has a long elimination half-life of 47–77 hours and provides stable plasma concentrations with once-daily oral dosing. The drug was discovered by Sepracor and later developed by Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc., but its development was discontinued after regulatory submissions were withdrawn due to requests for additional clinical data[1][2][3][7].
