Davictrel

Davictrel is a biosimilar version of etanercept (reference product Enbrel), developed by Hanwha Chemical as a recombinant human TNF receptor-Fc fusion protein for the treatment of autoimmune inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and other Enbrel-approved indications. It has the same basic structure and mechanism as etanercept, consisting of the extracellular ligand‑binding domain of the human p75 tumour necrosis factor receptor fused to the Fc portion of human IgG1, and acts by binding and neutralizing soluble tumour necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), thereby preventing TNF from engaging its cell-surface receptors and down‑regulating pro‑inflammatory signalling pathways.[1][3][7][8][9][10][11]
