Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**DC-APCC** is an investigational therapeutic cancer-vaccine regimen consisting of an allogeneic whole prostate carcinoma cell vaccine co-administered with ex vivo-generated autologous myeloid dendritic cells. The strategy is intended to enhance dendritic-cell presentation of prostate-tumor antigens and stimulate tumor-specific T-cell immune responses in patients with non-metastatic androgen-independent prostate cancer. It was evaluated by Mayo Clinic in the terminated Phase 2 study NCT00814892. ([clinicaltrials.gov](https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT00814892))
