Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DC1 is a HER-2-pulsed dendritic cell vaccine being investigated in a multicenter phase II study for the prevention of recurrence in patients with HER2-positive early breast cancer who have residual invasive disease after neoadjuvant therapy. The vaccine aims to induce anti-tumor immunity by correcting low or absent anti-HER-2 CD4 Th1 responses. It is administered via US-guided inguinal lymph node injection. Initial safety results indicate it is well tolerated without significant toxicities.
