DC411151 is an orally bioavailable small molecule Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor, specifically targeting Janus kinase 3 (JAK3) and Tyrosine kinase 2 (TYK2). It was developed through a collaboration between the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (SIMM) and Hangzhou Minsheng Pharmaceutical. The drug is primarily being investigated for the treatment of ulcerative colitis. By inhibiting the JAK/STAT signaling pathway, DC411151 modulates the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines that are central to the pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel disease. Preclinical studies demonstrated significant efficacy in animal models of colitis, and the candidate has progressed to Phase 2 clinical trials in China to evaluate its safety and efficacy in patients with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis.
