Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DCAR-001 is an investigational mRNA-based immunotherapy being developed by Pinion Immunotherapeutics for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Developed using Pinion's proprietary AI-driven mRNA platform, DCAR-001 is designed to activate CD8+ cytotoxic T lymphocytes and induce a targeted immune response against AML-associated antigens. The therapeutic candidate utilizes an engineered lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery system optimized for lymph node trafficking, antigen-presenting cell (APC) uptake, and major histocompatibility complex class I (MHC-I) loading. DCAR-001 is currently in preclinical development.
