**dCAR138-38** is a dual chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy engineered to target both **CD138** (syndecan-1) and **CD38** antigens coexpressed on multiple myeloma cells. This construct couples single-chain variable fragments (scFvs) derived from indatuximab ravtansine and daratumumab to T cells, requiring simultaneous recognition of both antigens for activation. This design aims to enhance tumor specificity and reduce off-target toxicity compared to single-antigen CARs. In preclinical studies, dCAR138-38 demonstrated potent anti-myeloma activity and increased specificity for dual-expressing cells, with significantly prolonged survival in mouse models. The vector sequence was constructed and ordered from Bio Basic within the pUC57 vector system[1].
