Overview

DCB-201 is an induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived artificial platelet-like particle (i-aPLP) developed by Dewcell Biotherapeutics. It is engineered using the company's proprietary en-aPLT™ and i-aPLP™ platforms to mimic the biological functions of natural platelets, particularly their role in hemostasis and tissue regeneration. Unlike traditional donor-derived platelets, DCB-201 is designed as a standardized, off-the-shelf therapeutic product that avoids the limitations of short shelf life and supply instability. The primary therapeutic focus for DCB-201 is regenerative medicine, specifically targeting wound healing and skin regeneration by delivering platelet-like signaling and growth factors to damaged tissues.
