Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DCB-301 is an advanced stem cell-derived biomaterial developed by Dewcell Biotherapeutics. It is produced using the company's proprietary en-aPLT™ (engineered artificial platelet production) platform and is specifically identified as an induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived artificial human platelet lysate (i-ahPLys™). DCB-301 is designed to serve as a standardized, high-quality alternative to donor-derived platelet lysates for use in cell culture applications and regenerative medicine. By utilizing stem cell technology in a reactor-based production system, Dewcell ensures stringent quality control and consistent production of the growth factors and cytokines inherent in platelet lysates. The product is the subject of a $2 million supply and joint development agreement with the German company PL BioScience for international distribution and further development.
