Overview

DCBCI0901 is a humanized monoclonal antibody designed to target **CD47**, a transmembrane protein that serves as a "don't eat me" signal on the surface of both normal and malignant cells. By binding to CD47, DCBCI0901 prevents its interaction with signal regulatory protein alpha (SIRPα) expressed on macrophages and other myeloid cells. This blockade removes the inhibitory signal that prevents phagocytosis, thereby enabling the innate immune system to identify and destroy cancer cells. Developed by the **Development Center for Biotechnology (DCB)** in Taiwan and licensed to **Standard Chemical & Pharmaceutical**, DCBCI0901 is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, where it is being assessed for safety, tolerability, and preliminary anti-tumor activity.
