Overview

DCBY02 is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets CD93, a receptor expressed on tumor-associated endothelial cells. By binding to CD93, DCBY02 blocks its interaction with the ligand IGFBP7, which leads to normalization of tumor vasculature, reduction of hypoxia within the tumor microenvironment, and improved perfusion. This mechanism transforms the tumor microenvironment from immunosuppressive to immunostimulatory, enhancing immune cell infiltration and potentially increasing the efficacy of other cancer therapies such as checkpoint inhibitors. Developed by DynamiCure Biotechnology as part of their DC-6001 anti-CD93 program, DCBY02 was evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for advanced or metastatic solid tumors but development has since been discontinued[1][2][3][4][5][6][8].
