Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**DCSZ11 + pembrolizumab** is a combination therapy under investigation for the treatment of advanced or metastatic solid tumors. DCSZ11 is a monoclonal antibody targeting CD93, a protein involved in tumor angiogenesis; by binding to CD93, DCSZ11 is intended to inhibit tumor vascularization, thereby potentially impeding tumor growth. Pembrolizumab is an established immune checkpoint inhibitor that blocks the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor on T cells, preventing the inhibition of immune responses by tumor cells and thereby promoting antitumor immunity. The combination is being assessed for synergistic effects on antitumor activity by concurrently targeting tumor vasculature (via CD93 inhibition) and reactivating T-cell mediated immune responses (via PD-1 blockade)[1][2][4].
