Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DD15 is a preclinical-stage injectable peptide multi-agonist developed by D&D Pharmatech for the treatment of obesity. It is designed to simultaneously target three key metabolic pathways: the glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor, the glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptor, and the glucagon (GCG) receptor. By acting as a triple agonist, DD15 aims to leverage the synergistic effects of these pathways—appetite suppression and slowed gastric emptying (GLP-1), improved insulin sensitivity and lipid metabolism (GIP), and increased energy expenditure (GCG)—to achieve superior weight loss and metabolic outcomes compared to single or dual-receptor agonists.
