Overview

DDI199 is a small molecule inhibitor with activity against histone deacetylases (HDAC), cholinesterase (ChE), and monoamine oxidase (MAO). It has been shown to deregulate pathways related to the cell cycle and neurotransmission in glioblastoma stem cells (GSCs). In preclinical studies, administration of DDI199 reduced glioblastoma multiforme tumor growth. The compound is primarily used as a research tool for studying epigenetic regulation, neurotransmitter metabolism, and cancer biology[1].
