Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Dead Sea Peloid Gel is a therapeutic formulation derived from the mineral-rich silt and mud (peloid) of the Dead Sea. It is utilized in peloidotherapy for its anti-inflammatory, thermal, and circulatory-enhancing properties. In the context of reproductive health, the gel is investigated for the treatment of chronic endometritis, a condition often associated with infertility and reproductive disorders. The gel is hypothesized to improve local blood circulation and restore the sensitivity of endometrial receptors to hormonal signals, thereby enhancing the receptivity of the endometrium. In clinical trials, it has been evaluated as an adjunct to standard antibiotic therapy to improve reproductive outcomes in women with inflammatory uterine disorders.
