Debio 0719

Debio 0719 (also known as the R-enantiomer of Ki16425) is a potent, subtype-selective, competitive small molecule antagonist of lysophosphatidic acid receptor 1 (LPAR1, or LPA1) and lysophosphatidic acid receptor 3 (LPAR3, or LPA3). Discovered by Kirin Brewery and licensed to Debiopharm, the compound inhibits LPA-mediated signaling pathways that promote tumor cell invasion, migration, and metastasis. In preclinical models of breast cancer, Debio 0719 has been shown to induce metastatic dormancy in secondary organs such as the lungs and liver, significantly reducing metastasis progression without affecting primary tumor growth or inducing overt toxicity.
