Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Debio 0826 is an early-stage, venom-derived peptide oncology program being developed by Debiopharm that aims to target an innovative, undisclosed cancer pathway using a “venomics” and reverse-discovery approach. The lead peptide candidate originated from animal venom identified through a collaboration between Atheris, Debiopharm and the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, and is being optimized to improve drug-like properties such as efficacy, potency, selectivity, stability and reduced toxicity for potential use as a peptide anticancer drug.[1][10][13][5][11]
