Overview

Debio 0931 (also known as IRC-083864) is a first-in-class small molecule inhibitor of the CDC25 phosphatase enzyme, which plays a critical role in regulating the cell cycle. Overexpression of CDC25 is frequently associated with cancer progression, making it a target for therapeutic intervention. By inhibiting this enzyme, Debio 0931 blocks cell cycle progression and interrupts tumor growth. The drug was originally developed by Ipsen and was licensed to Debiopharm Group in 2009 for worldwide development and commercialization, specifically for oncology applications.
