Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Debio 4326 is a unique injectable, biodegradable, 12-month extended-release formulation of triptorelin developed for the treatment of central precocious puberty (CPP). It is designed to reduce the frequency of injections and lighten the treatment burden for children with CPP. Triptorelin is a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist that acts by decreasing serum gonadotropin and sex hormone levels through sustained suppression of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). The formulation aims to improve long-term compliance and reduce stress for pediatric patients and their families. Debio 4326 is currently in Phase 3 clinical trials[1][2][3][5][7].
