Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**DEC-gp100-Trp2** is an experimental, dendritic-cell-targeted melanoma vaccine consisting of an anti-DEC-205 antibody engineered to carry CD8+ T-cell epitopes from the melanoma antigens gp100 and Trp2. By binding DEC-205 on dendritic cells, it promotes antigen uptake and cross-presentation of the gp100 and Trp2 epitopes, expanding antigen-specific CD8+ T cells and generating memory responses. In a prophylactic murine B16.OVA melanoma model, subcutaneous administration with polyinosinic-polycytidylic acid and anti-CD40 adjuvants delayed tumor growth.
