Overview

Dechelaside is a topical medical device developed by Amnol, primarily used in the field of phlebology. It is indicated for the treatment of skin dyschromia (staining) resulting from hemosiderin deposits, which are common complications of chronic venous insufficiency, sclerotherapy, or aesthetic vascular procedures. The formulation contains a combination of chelating agents, including disodium EDTA and phytic acid, which work by sequestering iron ions within the skin tissue. Additionally, it incorporates antioxidants such as sodium ascorbyl phosphate (a stable form of Vitamin C) and thioctic acid (alpha-lipoic acid) to neutralize free radicals and promote tissue repair. By addressing both the iron accumulation and the associated oxidative stress, Dechelaside helps to lighten skin discolorations and improve the aesthetic appearance of the affected areas.
