Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Deep IL-12** is an investigational tumor-targeted interleukin-12 (IL-12) immunotherapy designed to deliver the cytokine specifically to the tumor microenvironment, minimizing systemic toxicity associated with traditional IL-12 administration. As a cytokine therapy, it stimulates Th1 immune responses, promoting activation and proliferation of NK cells and CD8+ T cells, enhancing antitumor immunity through IFNγ production and chemokine induction (e.g., CXCL9, CXCL10). Developed to overcome delivery challenges of wild-type IL-12, it is being evaluated in early-phase clinical trials for advanced solid tumors, with preliminary data indicating improved tolerability and signs of clinical activity such as disease stabilization.
