Drug intelligence / Profile preview
deepGeneAI-001 is a personalized neoantigen-based cancer vaccine developed by DeepGene in collaboration with Ruijin Hospital. It is specifically designed for the treatment of gastrointestinal solid tumors. The vaccine is generated using the deepGeneAI bioinformatics platform, which identifies unique, patient-specific mutations (neoantigens) through genomic sequencing of the individual's tumor. By incorporating these specific antigens into a vaccine, the therapy aims to stimulate a robust and targeted T-cell mediated immune response to recognize and eliminate cancer cells. In clinical trials, deepGeneAI-001 is being evaluated in Phase 1 studies, primarily in combination with the PD-1 inhibitor sintilimab and sometimes chemotherapy, to enhance anti-tumor efficacy in patients with advanced or resected gastrointestinal cancers.
