It utilizes the proprietary DehydraTECH technology platform to enhance the oral and mucosal delivery of nicotine, acting as an agonist at nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. The formulation is designed to provide faster absorption and higher bioavailability compared to traditional nicotine replacement therapies, aiming to reach peak blood plasma levels significantly quicker (reaching peak levels 10-20 times faster than controls). It is primarily intended for use in oral formats, such as oral pouches, as a tobacco-free alternative for smoking cessation and nicotine replacement therapy.
