Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Del-Immune V Extra is a dietary supplement and metabiotic designed to provide immediate, broad-spectrum immune system support. It is derived from cell wall fragments of the probiotic strain Lactobacillus rhamnosus DV (NRRLB-68023) using a proprietary enzymatic process that breaks down the bacterial cell wall to release active molecules such as cell wall fragments and DNA motifs. These components act as immunomodulators, stimulating innate immune responses by activating key mediators like interferon gamma and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF alpha), which are involved in antiviral, antibacterial, anti-tumor, and anti-allergenic activities. Unlike live probiotics, Del-Immune V contains no live bacteria but instead uses these bioactive fragments to rapidly modulate immune function without risk of infection or antibiotic resistance transfer. The product also promotes growth of beneficial gut microbiota and supports gut health[2][4][5][6].
