Drug intelligence / Profile preview
delNS (Prostate Cancer) is a preclinical-stage therapeutic vaccine being developed by BlueSky Immunotherapies for the treatment of aggressive and castration-resistant prostate cancer. The vaccine utilizes BlueSky's proprietary delNS platform, which consists of an influenza A virus vector with a deleted NS1 gene. This modification renders the virus replication-deficient in normal cells while allowing it to induce high levels of interferon and activate a potent, multi-faceted immune response. In this specific candidate, the delNS vector is engineered to deliver prostate-specific tumor antigens directly to the immune system, aiming to elicit a robust T-cell mediated anti-tumor response against advanced prostate malignancies.
