Overview

**Delta-19** is Vivaldi Biosciences' preclinical intranasal combination vaccine candidate intended to protect against COVID-19 and influenza. It uses the proprietary Delta NS1 platform: a genetically modified, replication-deficient influenza-virus vector with the NS1 gene deleted that expresses immunogenic SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viral proteins. Nasal administration is designed to induce local neutralizing antibodies, including mucosal IgA, and interferon-driven systemic B-cell and T-cell immune responses against both respiratory pathogens.
