deltaEF1 siRNA is a small interfering RNA (siRNA) designed to target and knock down the expression of deltaEF1 (also known as zinc finger E-box-binding homeobox 1, ZEB1, or TCF8). deltaEF1 is a zinc finger-homeodomain transcription factor that acts as a key regulator of epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT), cell proliferation, and differentiation. In research settings, deltaEF1 siRNA is utilized as a laboratory tool to investigate the role of deltaEF1 in various biological processes and diseases, particularly in breast cancer and other malignancies where deltaEF1 overexpression is associated with tumor progression, metastasis, and drug resistance. Knockdown of deltaEF1 using this siRNA has been shown to inhibit cell proliferation, induce cell cycle arrest, and restore sensitivity to therapeutic agents in vitro.
