DeltEx gamma-delta T cells refer to a proprietary cell therapy platform and its derived therapeutic candidates developed by IN8bio. The platform focuses on the ex vivo expansion and activation of gamma-delta T cells, a unique subset of T cells that possess both innate and adaptive immune characteristics, allowing them to recognize and kill tumor cells without the need for MHC-restricted antigen presentation. The platform encompasses autologous, allogeneic, and iPSC-derived approaches. A key feature of the DeltEx platform is the Drug-Resistant Immunotherapy (DRI) technology, which involves genetically engineering the gamma-delta T cells to express genes that provide resistance to specific chemotherapies (such as temozolomide). This allows the T cells to be administered concurrently with standard-of-care chemotherapy, potentially enhancing anti-tumor efficacy while the chemotherapy debulks the tumor. Clinical candidates include INB-100 for leukemia and INB-200 and INB-400 for glioblastoma and other solid tumors.
