Overview
DEMECAN FE 800 is a line of high-potency, solvent-free medical cannabis fresh extracts (live rosin) developed and manufactured in Germany by DEMECAN. Produced under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) conditions, the extracts are obtained from fresh, deep-frozen cannabis flowers (such as the Bubba Kush strain for FE 800 No. 1, Cap Junky for No. 2, and Tropicana Cherry x Super Boof for No. 3) using a purely physical-mechanical process involving cold-water extraction, sieving, heat, and pressure. This solventless extraction method preserves the natural profile of cannabinoids and volatile monoterpenes. DEMECAN FE 800 contains approximately 80% (800 mg/ml) tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and 5% (50 mg/ml) cannabidiol (CBD). It is prescribed as an inhalable prescription-only medicine (Rezepturarzneimittel) for the treatment of chronic pain, sleep disorders, spasticity, anxiety, and depression, and is administered via vaporization.
