Overview

Demirex is an investigational mucopolysaccharide saline solution 0.9% designed for submucosal elevation in endoscopic mucosal resection of colonic lesions. It is administered via submucosal injection prior to polyp resection, with 1% indigo carmine added before administration. The solution aims to improve the efficacy and safety of endoscopic mucosal resection procedures by providing mechanical support for the removal of colonic lesions. It is currently being evaluated in a clinical trial sponsored by Nakafarma S.L. to compare its performance against a standard or placebo solution.
