ToleroTech's dendritic cell depletion siRNA is a preclinical-stage therapeutic candidate developed for the prevention and treatment of acute graft-versus-host disease (GvHD). The program utilizes small interfering RNA (siRNA) technology to target and either deplete or modulate the function of dendritic cells, which are the primary antigen-presenting cells responsible for initiating the immune response in GvHD. By silencing key molecular pathways within these cells, the therapy aims to induce immune tolerance and mitigate the systemic inflammatory attack on host tissues following transplantation. The program was part of ToleroTech's broader platform for immune-associated diseases before the company became inactive.
