Overview
Dendritic Cell Preparation is an autologous cell therapy developed by the Research Genetic Cancer Centre Group (RGCC) for the treatment of various cancers. The therapy involves isolating dendritic cells from a patient's own blood and priming them to recognize specific cancer cell surface antigens. These "educated" dendritic cells are then multiplied and re-administered to the patient. Once back in the body, these dendritic cells present the cancer antigens to T cells and B cells, effectively training the immune system to identify and attack specific cancer epitopes. This personalized approach is designed to enhance the patient's natural anti-tumor immune response and maintain balanced immune function as part of a supportive oncological strategy.
