This personalized, multi-component cell-based immunotherapy is developed by the NeuroVita Clinic for the treatment of glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). The therapeutic regimen consists of three distinct biological components: allogeneic haploidentical hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs), a dendritic cell vaccine (DV), and cytotoxic lymphocytes (CTLs). The process involves isolating tumor cells and tumor stem cells from a patient's GBM sample to identify tumor-specific antigens, which are then used to load dendritic cells cultured from the patient's peripheral blood. Following the administration of the dendritic vaccine, CTLs are harvested from the patient. Allogeneic HSCs are obtained from a closely related donor. The therapy is designed to transition lethal, progressing neuro-oncological processes into a chronic, non-lethal state by regulating the quantity of tumor cells and the effector functions of tumor stem cells. Administration involves a combination of intrathecal and subcutaneous routes.
