Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DendroCore is a highly sulfated, multivalent dendritic nanomaterial developed by DendroPharm that acts as a potent heparin analogue. It is designed for the treatment of inflammation and thrombosis by leveraging its extremely tight binding affinity for P-selectin and L-selectin. This interaction prevents the adhesion of leukocytes to inflamed vascular tissue and inhibits the formation of thrombi. As a product of DendroPharm's advanced nanocarrier technology platform, DendroCore is currently in preclinical development, offering a novel approach to targeting selectin-mediated biological processes with high specificity and multivalency.
