Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Dendrophilin is a biopharmaceutical TLR4 (Toll-like receptor 4) agonist developed by Innaxon Therapeutics for the treatment of cancer. It consists of a highly purified and physicochemically defined lipopolysaccharide (LPS) solution. Dendrophilin acts through the MyD88 signaling pathway to modulate the immune system, specifically enhancing immunogenic cell death and promoting the intratumoral accumulation of interferon-γ-producing T lymphocytes. It is being investigated for use in immunochemotherapy, particularly in synergy with anthracyclines, and as a vaccine adjuvant to boost immune responses against tumor antigens.
