**BMS-982470 + ipilimumab** is a combination therapy consisting of denenicokin (BMS-982470, also known as recombinant interleukin-21 or rIL-21) and ipilimumab. Denenicokin is an engineered form of interleukin-21, a cytokine that enhances immune system activity, particularly by activating natural killer (NK) cells and cytotoxic T-cells. Ipilimumab is a fully human monoclonal antibody that targets cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4), acting as a checkpoint inhibitor to potentiate an anti-tumor immune response. This combination has been primarily investigated for the treatment of advanced or unresectable melanoma, aiming to synergistically enhance antitumor immune activity.
