The vaccine contains live attenuated dengue virus components representing dengue virus serotypes 1, 2, 3, and 4, with each serotype included to induce broad neutralizing immune responses against all four dengue serotypes. It has been evaluated as a single subcutaneous dose in healthy adults and subsequently entered a seamless Phase 1/2 study in Indian adults and children aged over 2 years.
