Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Dengzhan Xixin Formula Granule (灯盏细辛中药配方颗粒) is a standardized Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) preparation developed by Guizhou Yibai Pharmaceutical. It is derived from the aerial parts of *Erigeron breviscapus* (Vaniot) Hand.-Mazz., a perennial herb native to southwestern China. The granule contains a mixture of active flavonoids and caffeoyl derivatives, most notably scutellarin (the primary component of breviscapine), which are recognized for their therapeutic effects on cardiovascular and cerebrovascular systems. Clinically, Dengzhan Xixin preparations are utilized in China for the treatment of acute ischemic stroke, sequelae of cerebral ischemia, coronary heart disease, and angina. As a formula granule, it is intended for use in compounded TCM prescriptions, providing a standardized and convenient alternative to traditional raw herb decoctions.
