Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Denovo Plus B12 is an oral dietary supplement developed by Magna Pharmaceuticals for the metabolic management of low folate and vitamin B12 levels. It contains 15 mg of L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate (the active form of folate) and 2 mg of methylcobalamin (the active form of vitamin B12). By providing these bioactive forms, the supplement bypasses the need for the MTHFR enzyme, making it suitable for individuals with MTHFR polymorphisms. The product supports cobalamin-dependent metabolic pathways essential for hematologic and neurologic health and facilitates the synthesis of key neurotransmitters, including serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine, which are often depleted in individuals with nutritional deficiencies and associated depressive symptoms.
