Overview
DEP HER-2 ADC is an investigational HER2-targeted antibody-drug conjugate based on Starpharma’s DEP dendrimer platform, in which a HER2-directed antibody (or HER2-targeted construct) is conjugated via a dendrimer-based linker system to a cytotoxic payload, with the aim of improving therapeutic index, tumor targeting, and pharmacokinetics compared with conventional HER2 ADCs. Public information on DEP HER-2 ADC is very limited; disclosures indicate it is being developed as a next-generation HER2-directed antineoplastic for HER2-positive and potentially HER2-low solid tumors, leveraging the DEP polymer conjugate technology previously used with SN-38 and other payloads to enhance efficacy and reduce systemic toxicity.[6]
