Overview
Depigoid forte is a depigmented and polymerized pollen allergen extract developed by Laboratorios LETI for allergen immunotherapy (AIT). It is a high-concentration formulation within the Depigoid platform, specifically combining grass pollen extracts with either *Olea europaea* (olive) or *Parietaria judaica* pollen. The extracts are modified through depigmentation and glutaraldehyde polymerization to reduce allergenicity (IgE binding) while maintaining immunogenicity (T-cell stimulation). Administered via subcutaneous injection (SCIT) using a rush build-up regimen, it is indicated for the treatment of allergic rhinitis, allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, and seasonal asthma in patients sensitized to these pollens. The product was first launched in 1999 and has been evaluated in Phase 2 studies to assess the safety and tolerability of its accelerated administration protocols.
