Depigoid grasses mix + Olea europaea + Salsola kali is a subcutaneous allergen immunotherapy (AIT) product developed by Laboratorios LETI. It is composed of depigmented and glutaraldehyde-polymerized pollen allergen extracts derived from a mixture of grasses, olive (*Olea europaea*), and Russian thistle (*Salsola kali*). The depigmentation process removes non-allergenic components, while glutaraldehyde polymerization reduces the allergenicity (IgE-binding capacity) of the extracts, thereby improving the safety profile and allowing for a more rapid up-dosing schedule. Despite the reduced IgE binding, the polymerized allergens retain their immunogenicity by preserving T-cell epitopes. This product is indicated for the treatment of allergic rhinitis, allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, and controlled asthma in patients sensitized to these specific pollens. It has been investigated in Phase 2 clinical trials in Spain to evaluate its safety, tolerability, and immunoserological effects.
