Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Ourui (deproteinized calf blood extract) is a biological extract derived from bovine blood, developed and manufactured by Heilongjiang Jiangshi Pharmaceutical. It is primarily used for the treatment of neurological and metabolic disorders, including cerebral insufficiency, stroke, and peripheral arterial disease. The extract contains a complex mixture of low-molecular-weight components such as amino acids, oligopeptides, and nucleosides. Its mechanism of action involves enhancing cellular oxygen uptake and glucose utilization, thereby improving energy metabolism in tissues under hypoxic or ischemic conditions. It is administered via injection and is approved in China for various indications related to tissue repair and metabolic support.
