Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Deproteinized calf blood extract + sodium chloride is a biological hemodialysate developed and manufactured by Heilongjiang Jiangshi Pharmaceutical. It consists of a protein-free extract derived from calf blood, containing a complex mixture of low-molecular-weight components such as amino acids, nucleosides, and electrolytes, formulated in a 0.9% sodium chloride solution. The drug is indicated for the treatment of neurological and metabolic disorders, including cerebrovascular diseases, traumatic brain injury, and peripheral circulatory disturbances. Its therapeutic effect is attributed to the enhancement of cellular oxygen utilization and the stimulation of glucose transport and metabolism, which helps maintain cellular energy levels and protects tissues from damage under hypoxic or ischemic conditions. It is administered via intravenous injection and is approved for clinical use in China.
