Overview
**Dercos DS** is a Vichy dermocosmetic anti-dandruff shampoo formulated around micronized selenium sulfide. It is applied to the scalp to reduce dandruff-associated visible flaking and itch; selenium sulfide has antifungal and anti-proliferative scalp effects that help reduce *Malassezia*-associated dandruff and excessive shedding of scalp corneocytes. A completed observational study sponsored by Cosmetique Active International evaluated its benefit, satisfaction, tolerance, and cosmetic acceptability in people with dandruff.
