Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DermaBind TL is a dehydrated, full-thickness placental membrane allograft developed by HealthTech Wound Care for the management of chronic, non-healing wounds. It is composed of the amnion, chorion, and the intermediate (spongy) layer, preserving a comprehensive extracellular matrix that includes over 400 proteins such as collagens, fibrins, and elastins. The allograft also contains essential growth factors and cytokines, including hyaluronic acid, transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGF-B1), hepatocyte growth factor (HGF), and interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL-1ra). It is intended for homologous use as a protective wound covering to facilitate healing in conditions such as diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) and venous leg ulcers (VLUs). The product is terminally sterilized and room-temperature stable, designed to provide a biological scaffold that supports cellular migration and tissue regeneration.
