Overview

Dermacyte AC Matrix is a lyophilized, full-thickness human amnion-chorion membrane (hACM) allograft developed by Merakris Therapeutics. It is designed for the protection and treatment of soft tissue defects and chronic wounds, such as diabetic foot ulcers and venous leg ulcers. As an allogeneic matrix cellular and tissue-based skin substitute, it provides a biological scaffold that facilitates cell migration, induces tissue regeneration, and promotes wound healing. The product was launched in October 2024 and is recognized under the HCPCS billing code Q4343 for reimbursement purposes.
